Guide to Clipping Masks

Guide for GIMP 2.6

First thing, Open what you want as a background. Now press copy (Ctrl +c )

Now, open up a different picture. Make it transparent, and Paste the background.


Now, write what you want. (Its hard to see, but there)


Now, Layers>Transparency>Alpha to selection


Then, Select>Float


Right click the layer thats floating, and Anchor Layer


Now, Right click the background layer. Press add layer mask


When this comes up, make sure it says selection!


And....
