| Below in my signature is my first attempt with GIMP. I have never used it before, because I usually use Photoshop at school. So I did a simple signature for now. If anyone knows ow to use GIMP well, please comment below, and help me out because it is way different from Photoshop! Trust me, I can do better than what you see below, but that was my first attempt. Thoughts? I'm open to constructive criticism! | |

| pretty good for first time at gimp! I would say to just make the background more interesting. I usually use textures and gradients for that. Keep practicing!(: | |

| Not bad. Keep working on your cutting. Also, make sure you paste pictures you take in wiz into paint and save them so they are less blurry. The text could use (but doesn't NEED to have all the time) a gradient, outline, drop shadow; you can also use different modes when you get more familiar with GIMP. The background just needs some textures, etc to make it exciting. A border completes the look and finishes any sigg. KIU! | |

| Thanks for all the help guys! I'm probably going to look up GIMP tutorials on Google later today. I'll see what else I can come up with and post it here when I get it done (hopefully today)! Thanks again everyone, this really helps me! | |

Tutorials do help a LOT. i derived my style from a tutorial, but tweaked it. go to DeviantArt, and see what you can find there. They have GREAT artists, and they have some nice sig tutorials (also called tag tutorials on there) for you to use! | |

| Better than my first try. x D . Two things: Try leasing around with different fonts, and make the background more.... interesting. If you go to filters there's a lotta stuff, or use CD4's or fractals. Alexy has a good guide if you're looking for one. So yeah, hope it helps | |
