I have an idea about a new spell, perhaps something like gargantuan, that you would add to a spell.

Its called Change Reaction (from a song by Robert Hazard & The Heros).
Since much of Wizard 101 is about music, this should fit in well.

What it does:

You are against 3 bad guys. They each have 700 health. You hit the first one with a Helephant (only using fire as an example) that has Change Reaction added to it.
Now, your hit will do 2000 (again, using these numbers for demonstration purposes only). You hit him for 700 damage, finishing him off. Now, since you have 1300 damage left, it moves to the next bad guy! Now, you hit the second bad guy for 700, destroying him. So, you still have 600 damage left, it moves to the last guy and hits for 600, leaving only one bad guy left with 100 health left!

To me it seems a waste to use a spell that will wipe out a bad guy with a super spell, only to have to build up pips again to work on the others, when this could 'share the wealth' onto the other bad guys.

So, in a way, it becomes an AOE to some, but on the last one, it won't always kill? I think that's a good idea, because it won't just be an overpowered AOE (which i get sick of. x.x)

Its more like an AOE spell, rather than a DOT spell. It will do all of its damage in one round, but just jump from one bad guy to another until the damage of the spell runs out.
