Illustrated Guide to Transcended Life PvP (1v1)Gear Selection:Hat, Robe, and Boots
In my opinion, the Waterworks Legendary Outfit serves as the best gear for Transcended PvP for all schools, including Life, although some might argue that the Zafarian Crafted Gear is the best.
As for me, I'll stick with the Waterworks Outfit:
There can be many different wands you can use for Life 1v1, all of them including the same vital statistic used many times throughout 1v1: Block.
Some may say Critical is more important, and your wand can have critical if you'd like, but it MUST have Block. Block sometimes may be the reason you won, or lost, for that matter. With so much Critical chance going around, Critical is almost inevitable.
As for myself, I use Greenwarden's Brilliant Staff, which can be found in the Wyvern's Hoard Pack:
Other options can include: Lifeforce Blade, Spear of the Tradewinds, Any CL Crafted WandAthame and Ring
Personally, I like the Cosmic Kris and the Stellar Signet, because of their very high healing boost, and power pip percentage.
Other options can include: Tower of Helephant Ring/Athame; Wintertusk Crafted Ring/Athame. Anything with a decent heal boost and pip percentage will work very effectively.Amulet
Amulet choice is very important. I use the Myth Mastery Amulet, and have trained up to Earthquake in order to break off shields and remove blades.
I know that 9950 Crowns may seem like a lot, but it's all work it.
Other options can include: Balance Mastery Amulet; Nightshade's ChokerPet
Lately, Pets have become a very important piece of "equipment" in PvP. With the high resist and health boosting talents that they provide, Pets might sometimes be the very reason you win or lose a match.
May Cast "Sprite" and Spell-Proof are very, very needed talents in PvP (1v1). Additional, but not required talents include: Spell-Defying, May Cast "Unicorn", May Cast "Smokescreen", May Cast "Tower Shield", May Cast "Weakness", and Pain-Giver.
Obviously the most important part in PvP is Deck Setup/Use.
I reccomend the following things for a 1v1 Life PvP Deck (Myth Mastery Amulet) :
- Maximum Tower Shields
- Maximum Colossal
- 3-4 Earthquakes
- 2-3 Life Dispels
- 4-5 Life Blades
- 2-4 Weaknesses
- 2-3 Infections
- 3-4 Gnomes!
- 3 Centaurs
- 0-2 Seraphs (Not required)
- 2-3 Convictions
- 2-4 Fairies
- 2-4 Satyrs
- 2-3 Volcanic Shields
- 3-4 Infallible
My General Strategy is
